Hello and welcome!
This site started as a showcase of my mosaic art work but I have expanded it to encompass more of my fractured interests. My life by design is a bit fractured between my art, music, writing, home schooling, low carbing, ministry family and friends. I thought about building separate sites but have decided that some how all of this, is part of me. So... to not fracture my time more than necessary, I have decided to keep everything here.
The Lord has been speaking to my heart to re-work this site for a good part of the last year. I have put it off because it has been a big job and I was not sure about what to include in it. I guess I have become comfortable sharing my mosaic art. Sharing my writing and music requires a whole new level of transparency and vulnerability. I have put it off by saying things like “Who am I?’ “What do I have to say?” “How can you use a broken vessel?” “I’m no one special! or the big excuse... “I’m not ______ enough”. You can add any number of things to the blank. The fact is... who am I to say what the Lord of the Universe can or cannot use. He has brought me though a lot and when it comes right down to it I do have a message of hope and restoration. He has given me beautiful art work, songs, and inspired me to write and to study His word. So I've put it all here to share with you.
So who am I - I’m I pilgrim on a journey, following the foot steps of Jesus Christ and others who have followed Him through out history. I write songs, I sing and play guitar and I am learning piano, I am a mosaic artist, a wife, a mom, I home school my children, I’m active in my local church. I read and study my Bible and I pray. Mostly I am an available tool in the hands of my savior and friend, Jesus Christ. He has picked up the broken pieces of my life and put them back together in a beautiful way.
At this site you will find my writing, art, and music, some home school ideas and who knows what else. So take some time to explore, tell your friends about it and then come back from time to time to see what is new. It is my prayer that you will leave here encouraged and filled with hope for your own journey.
Thanks for dropping by!
